Welcome to our first fostering family!

Julie, Robin and their family join us today following their approval at our first fostering panel last month. We're super excited to be supporting them and bringing aboard their prolific experience in fostering.

The family have been fostering for over a decade and have shown a commendable commitment to caring roles - recognised in 2015's Queen's Birthday Honours, where Julie was awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) for her services in care for children with disabilities.

As experienced foster carers who share our values, Julie and Robin will be working closely with us to further develop the Fostering Together service, as well as providing a mentoring role to families new to their fostering journey. 

They, like us, are keen to welcome more families to our service and to meet and support other like-minded people in the fostering community.
