Welcoming more families to the team, as Ofsted visits!

We are thrilled to welcome experienced foster carers Laura & Alex, Tracy & Andy and L & P who joined us this week following their successful assessments. 

It's been a pleasure working in partnership with the families during their assessments. Their valuable input helps to inform and improve our service; something which will continue with them and other carers we support in the future. 

The families are keen to support others considering a journey into fostering and contributing towards building Fostering Together into a service doing the best to improve the outcomes for children in care.

This fantastic news was accompanied by a busy week, where Ofsted completed their first inspection visit since our registration in August 2020!

Ofsted told us we are 'shining everywhere'

In this monitoring visit, we received glowing feedback in all areas, such as the child-centred approach to care, the robust assessment & approval of foster carers joining the service and our value of collaborating to achieve more as a team. Ofsted wanted us to thank everyone who is involved in contributing to our mission.
