🌼 Spring Adventures with Fostering Together 🐣
What a brilliant few weeks we’ve had celebrating the Spring and Easter holidays with our Fostering Together community across the UK! 🌱 From farms and wildlife parks to theme parks and picnics, we're very happy to be able to celebrate accessible days out across the community regions!
🐑 Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm
We kicked off our Spring events with a lovely visit to Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm, where foster carers and children spent time meeting newborn lambs and learning how the farm prepares for the busy spring season. 🐑✨
It was a warm and welcoming day, and a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and enjoy the countryside. A truly “ewe-nique” start to the holidays! 💛

🐾 Barleylands Farm, Billericay
We continued our Easter adventures with our Essex, Surrey, Sussex & London community at Barleylands Farm. 🐑💛
Families enjoyed time with the animals, fresh air and a bit of racing fun 🏎, as well as celebrating a young person’s birthday with cake and smiles all around 🎂.
Thank you to the Barleylands team for hosting us and helping create such a special day.

🎢 Drayton Manor Theme Park
Our Midlands community enjoyed an exciting day out at Drayton Manor Theme Park in Tamworth! 🎢💙
Families made the most of the rides, attractions and even pizza breaks 🍕. Some braved the bigger rides, while others enjoyed a more relaxed pace in Thomasland and the zoo 🚂🐾.
It was a fantastic day of fun, laughter and shared experiences.

🌿 Ferry Meadows Picnic – East Midlands & The Fens
Our East Midlands & Fens community enjoyed a relaxed outdoor day at Ferry Meadows ☀️💛
We brought along a picnic, toys, music and our rainbow tickle tunnel 🧺🎶, making the most of the beautiful weather while watching the miniature train pass by 🚂.
We also brought Lulu to support accessibility needs, ensuring families with personal care requirements had access to appropriate facilities ♿️.
Thank you to Nene Park Trust for their support on the day.

🦉 Wildwood Kent Wildlife Park
We rounded off our Spring events with our South East community at Wildwood Kent Wildlife Park 🐾💛
It was a fantastic day exploring native British wildlife, from bears and bison to lynx, wild boar and owls 🐻🦉.
Families also enjoyed the park’s accessible changing facilities, helping ensure everyone could take part comfortably and confidently ♿️.

🌸 A Wonderful Spring Season
That’s a wrap on our Spring and Easter holiday events for 2026! 🌼
It has been a joy to bring our fostering community together across so many locations, creating shared experiences and lasting memories for children, young people and carers alike 💛
Our calendar is still filling up for Spring and Summer, so watch this space for more upcoming activities and events! 👀📅
